im not an emo...

Its funny how the word exam doesnt get to u during the last minute but freaks you out a week before. Just when i find im finally adapting to australia and particularly the boring lifestyle in brisbane, you come home to find that you actually feel a little homesick is not the perfect feeling be experiencing. I have to admit i lost touch of blogging the day i came back from that 10 day awesome trip back home but as you can see its coming back. good thing?

Its even funnier when you know how i used to hate biology when it comes to genetics. Somehow australians made me finally understand and like it. Which opposes to their chemistry skills. Coz i take such a long time to figure out what they are trying to touch on. Why cant they say alkene undergoes addtion reaction instead of alkene goes through Markonikov's addition reaction. Blur me thought it was a whole new thing.

My housemate said i dont play hard enough. I think i play hard enough, just not with them. Thats why my aussie buddy is a good person to hang out with:) planning the random things we want to do once we touch down in june just to feel that hot weather you guys hate. You can imagine two girls crazily enjoying themselves if they just had the chance to lepak in KL's airport.

Its getting colder everyday and its not even winter yet.Brrrrrr....

im suppose to be studying but.....

A few days ago i had something to blog about but was so caught up with finishing my assignments and trying to study for my online test and a mid sem exam this friday but now i forgot what i wanted to blog about..ive been thinking for 15 minutes and i still cant remember :S Oh wells...i shall blog about what i had for dinner tonight!

my fried rice talent:) uve got to admit that my fried rice looks more edible now compared to the one i cooked when i first arrived aussie land..Everything is improving and its thanks to mummy! She got me a pan and rice cooker which makes me smile everytime i cook :) Must be the amount of love i put into my cooking <3

on another note: Kathleen please get well soon..recieving ur msg this morning in lecture brought tears:( I wish i could go visit u and just know what is going on...please someone update me with her condition! i really regret not meeting with you when i was back in malaysia during the 10 days...

My aussie camwhore partner is coming to sleepover this friday!YAY!! so expect more pictures if not i think it will be a dead blog for awhile.......

and please pray me and my aussie buddy will finish our finals in the first week....then we can fly home early....................

Finally the internet line is stable again! back in brisbane already....

I spent the easter holidays back home. sorry i didnt tell you guys! it was suppose to be a surprise! although i didnt manage to meet up with everyone due to time..soon okay! July we can meet up! :) It was so nice to be home...mum had a small gathering..

they celebrated my belated birthday..which makes it 5 cakes and 5 celebration this year:) and for grace's awesome results

To summarize what i did....

1. Sleeping on my own bed with the bolster
2.Mopping and sweeping the floor never felt that fun!
3.Eat like as if there is no tomorrow
4.Wash the car
5.Watch late night movies and get lost in the parking lot
6.Driving around at night for fun
7.Watch bro's basketball game and get all hyped up
8.Drive the car out at 615am alone so that i could make pancakes.
9.Follow the monash students with their fire drill.
10.Cook dinner for the family and spend quality time with the family.
11.Pasar malam!

Its so nice to have Jayde in Brisbane. Someone to suffer homesick with you. To count the days down. Last night we had a mini celebration:) Going grocery shopping and cooking our first dinner together. Too much left over so dinner for tonight and tmrw night is all under cover!

my first aussie birthday...

the 29th of March is the day i look forward to every year..and most of you would know how much i would hint every year when the time came closer and closer..this year birthday didnt hit me hard..i m in australia..i wasnt so perasan to dream you guys would come all the way here to surprise..and i know im used to getting surprises almost every year so i dare not expect anything this year..there was no hinting in fact i didnt even say anything about birthday this year..

but.....God is good..he blessed me with wonderful gifts,surprises,emails,letters,cards,facebook wishes, calls , msn and sms-es:)

Everything began on the 28th of March..we had life group picnic at roma street park...when all of a sudden everyone surrounded me and sang "Happy Birthday to you....."
the first birthday cake in australia...fattening as it may look..but its my first time eating something so sweet:)

I was sitting there..and SURPRISE!

i was overjoyed!

this looked like i was making a wish..but in fact..i forgot to make a wish with that cake..

And then ...at night...at 1155pm brisbane time..while skyping with zken... because it was earth hour it was all dark at his place and SURPRISE!! he got me a cake too and sang it over skype! :)

5 minutes later..there was knocking at my door...
SURPRISE AGAIN!!!! from the housemates this time....really didnt expect this..hence the pyjamas! :)I remembered to make a wish this time!

29th March 09First ever dinner out with all housemates:) indian food...


then they said we were going out..to take the city cat..the ferry that will bring us cruising along brisbane river...The view was amazing..u see the lights of the city on ur left and right..above u see so many stars! which birthday do u get to do this right?*faye! brisbane has the most beautiful ferris wheel*


we reached kangaroo point..the look out point..busy taking pictures when..SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU AGAIN!!! this time it was mango cheese cake.....they were so excited they didnt bring plates so we tore the box and use it as our plate!

It was after the cake when one of he housemates decide on playing a game..i was so busy focusing when suddenly HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.......I was like waaaa other people celebrating birthday also..but it was my Life group members..What a surprise!
then we started cam whoring..this was with the guys..the only guys i know in Brisbane is from church...
