In that work place..

Its been some time since i last blogged. Wonder if there is anyone who still bothers coming to read my dead temporarily blog? Anyways, yess it has been a long time because even the blog layout has changed and even to post this up here, i had trouble looking for the icon! Hah!

Thought it would be a good day to put down what have really happened since march. Well ALOT! from work to family to relationship and friendship.

So i have started this journey as a working adult for four months now? Its been an amazing journey and i know it really is a blessing from God. It was challenging at first because of language and communication and just feeling lost in a new environment! but thankfully he has placed good colleagues which help me to fit in and always helping me out when im totally lost! Even the boss occasionally calls me into his room and checks if everything is ok! Most of all, God instills this passion and motivation within me, thus there was rarely or almost none a time where i dreaded to work! Yess thats how amazing it has been!

After four months and getting all adapted, i actually was offered a job by one of my company's biggest customer. Honestly it is tempting, being all young and wanting to reach a higher salary or a higher position within a short period of time but that probably is really just the surface. I thought about it and really did consider it seriously but i guess there was no peace in me. I could have resigned and take up that offer and within two weeks ill be there but is that what responsibility is all about? You can say i am naive and dont know what working life is. Yes i may not know it, but i do know that God has called us to be in the market place for a reason: to be a light in darkness. I just felt that my principle of life should be to practice humility, respect, integrity and loyalty wherever i am right now. It would be difficult to see my boss again in the future which i know i will since he goes there for meetings and also the business relationship between the two companies would be somehow a tension. Although the current's company's lost of business wouldnt concern me much, it probably is the Holy Spirit's prompting to do what i do now: to reject the offer.
Possibly its not the time yet and i strongly believe that God loves me and know what is best for me. I trust that opportunities like this will come again one day when im more ready!

So to sum up work it would be a revelation and a testimony of how God really fits Jeremiah 29:11 into my life..

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.


Okies i have to go now, ill try to update about the other areas of my life soon!

haha! Finally an update from me. Thank you so much loyal readers for still wanting to know what's going on in my life:) doesnt matter its because you love me or because you are just "keypoh". I will attempt to make this a more entertaining post:)

So the last post was about USS. What ever happened in between? *checks my planner*

ahhh CNY. you see CNY lasted 15 days thus the +/+ 15 days break in between!

CNY was in Singapore. Seriously after that Singapore trip, after all that travelling i made a promise to my getting old body that i will have a no travelling February policy!

Life update: someone fell off the window from the 21st floor opposite my block last week and ive been freaking out pretty much ever since. I keep getting disgusting ideas on how he fell and died.. so don blame me if you hear worship songs blasting out loud in the night:P

Full time job= zero, went for an interview though.. really hope i get called for round 2... i really like the position!

part time job=the kids are super duper cute! everyday is different:D sometimes i pray God will give me a job soon because if not im getting to in love with the kids i may end up there for the rest of my life.....

USS

I have been wanting to go to Universal's Studios in Singapore ever since my family went there 2 years ago while i was still in Brisbane.. So since a few of us like Jean and Sabrina havent been there we organize a trip down south to USS:)

It was a great trip of bonding ad getting to know each other better:) Since i came back, ive been feeling a little dry so the encouragement, motivation and prayers together made me miss UQ8 even more!

Have started work a week now! Loving the sooo cute kids, but not loving the sore throat ive caught! :(

Far too long...

Its been a while since my last post.. hows everybody doing? well i hope. everything on my side has been pretty good. but the weather has been absolutely hot and im still being my lazy self.

ohhh i also got a part time job and will be starting on the 16th!

however much has happened since christmas. so here's a little update:

went over to singapore 29th-31st. it was a pretty last minute trip down south to attend grandma's bday lunch and of course since i was going down met up Wen Huey, Jeremy, Veronica, Jun Hao, Sheng Loong and Brian Lee.

they brought me to eat and cycle! we cycled 20km in 2 hours! crazy eh considering i havent done much exercise since Brisbane aside from wii dance. LOL

next was the morning walk and catch up session with my dear sky! :) did our usual morning walk at kiara park and cheap breakfast at ikea:)

and finally my annual meet up primary school best friends:)

since coming back, i feel im looking older and older:( must be the lack of exercise:(

anyways... off to sg with Sabrina so stay tune for Universal Studio photos next week!

Blessed Christmas!

Its that time of the year, that time of the season where my blog goes dead and takes like forever to be updated again. Sorry readers, i have been lazy and lacking of pictures and stuff to post about. oh wait, i have Brisbane posts to upload, but im still too lazy, really! i think my laptop has only been switched on less than 10 times since i got back almost 3 weeks ago! :S My room, is still in a bit of a mess to take a picture and to be posted up here...

So my christmas was good.. Church in the morning.. shopping in the afternoon and lazing around at home by night time! :)

Ohhh besides lazing, my little benny lulu brought back his wii for me to play so for now im still occupied. I think im also getting older because even with a car im super lazy to go out! :P

Today ill update on Ee Eng's birthday! Every christmas eve is dedicated to our christmas eve baby! and this year we went Kelantan-ish style! The food i mean! Nasi kerabu and laksang! :P

Its been about three- four days since i got home so its about time i update whats been going on:) im sure my loyal readers are eagerly waiting:)

Havent been doing much except for sleeping and unpacking.. still half done but im getting there.. I have been so tired since i touched down.. i have to stop being lazy and start my gym routine again:)

Ohhh and im home alone.. so im pretty much the kakak cleaning and redecorating my room.. its still in a mess so when i get it nice and pretty maybe ill post it up here for memories sake:)

To all my Brisbane friends,

I want to say a big thank you for coming to the airport to send me off and for the multiple farewells, hugs, little notes, gifts and words of encouragement. It really blesses my heart to know that im someone special to all of you:) It really means alot and im already missing all of you! Still trying to adapt to the malaysian lifestyle but major jetlag coz im extremely tired by 10pm and i wake up at 6am :S Ill post a Brissy post when i get around it:D

Girlfriends

I must say God has bless me with many things in life but one blessing i cannot thank Him enough is the gift of the best girlfriends in the world:) I have so many close girlfriends and i think, not everyone is as privilege as me!

Last night had dress up dinner with the most beautiful girls to celebrate our results.. Had so much fun laughing and talking nonsense! :)

This is definitely something i will miss for the rest of my life from Brisbane! :(

This day is the end of my journey in Brisbane but the beginning of a beautiful friendship..

Till we meet again in Malaysia, Singapore or Indonesia:)

the warmth of serving hearts

Im feeling extremely tired now but i feel i really need to make it a point to put down today because it will definitely encourage me in the future. Ushering team had a farewell for me, Alexa and Analeigh.

To be honest i am very touched with all the kind words and encouragement they said about me. Sometimes i really feel i am not as capable of being a leader like how they described me but im very encouraged and happy to hear that my presence and rising up as a leader has blessed many lives. Each and everyone of them have so many God given gifts that make UQB ushering team so special. Indeed hearts are being changed and we are living out the vision of bringing people to people, people to God and people to places. Im proud to lead you all!!

Points to remember**While Seya prayed for me she felt a sense of authority while Adeline saw a vision of a special breed of horse that had a majestic aura and ran freely and fast.

Im sure one day ill think back and recollect the different words of encouragement and know that I have been equipped and prepared for greater things back home:D
